Comcast’s XFINITY TV for iPhone updated to v1.5.1

There is a new version of Comcast’s XFINITY TV, which has been updated to v1.5.1 for the iPhone. This app makes it possible to watch a host of entertainment content on the small device that fits into your pocket. We already know how the app allows you to watch some of your much-loved TV shows and movies on all three iOS devices; so great to see a few improvements.
What makes this app so special is how you can also control not only your TV, but also the On Demand features and Listings. You can also make schedules to those DVR recordings of yours as well. So what changes have been made we hear you ask, well there are a handful of updates that we will list for you below.
The first thing that has been improved with this update is no more crashing while launching the app. There might be some cases where the app might still crash, so you are advised to delete the app from your iOS device and then re-install it.
Another improvement is being able to gain access to your TV channel lineup that you have at home via your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. Thirdly you will now be able to find more movies and On Demand TV shows than ever before. Finally the search function has also seen a few improvements.
The update to XFINITY TV by Comcast has been available for a day now; more information on this free app can be found by visiting iTunes.
